I guess It's that time of the the season

Flu season that is. We're barely into the fall season and Little A has already come down with her 1st virus-Rotavirus to be more specific.

It all started last week with the dreaded constant diarrhea. If you've ever dealt with a baby with Rotavirus, you know what I'm talking about. It's completely different and trust me, you don't want me to get into the specifics.
From there she developed a low grade fever that was on and off for 2-3 days. Immediately following that was the vomiting. I can deal with poop on any level, but vomiting is a whole different ball game. How is it that it seems like she throws up more than her tiny little stomach could possibly hold? Poor baby, I can't imagine how she's feeling. She's in such great spirits though. The only sign of her not feeling well (besides the obvious) is that she'll be playing on the floor and all of a sudden decide to lie down and rest her little head against the carpet. Like she needs a quick break. Then she pops up and is off playing again. God bless her! Kids are so resilient.
And of course, with a virus there really isn't anything you can do other than let it run it's course, keep them hydrated and try and battle the fevers with Tylenol or Motrin. The Dr estimates it should be done with by the end of the week. Yesterday's appt showed that she was down 1/2 lb. Which isn't bad considering.
Let's hope this weekend we're all out enjoying the nice weather. I'm sure she's starting to get a little stir-crazy locked up in this house. I know I am.
