What's new with Little A?

Well, she's been crawling for a few months now. She's EVERYWHERE! My favorite is when we're playing on the floor and she gets really excited from the other end of the room and races over to me giggling and huffing and puffing like she's running a marathon, but her knees are faster than her hands so she face plants on the rug and then looks up at me from the floor and starts laughing. It's like she can't get me to fast enough. LOVE that!

Her latest "thing" is standing. She has to stand holding on to everything. The couch, coffee table, tv stand, recliner, ottoman, toy box, window sill, the wall, stairs, baby gate, lion push toy, you while you sit on the floor, you name it, she's standing against it.

She loves clapping, blowing raspberries, making the crazy noises with her finger and her lips (what's that called?) and daddy's favorite: giving kisses! She says mama a lot, especially in distress. I guess you could consider that her 1st word although we don't think she knows what it means yet.
She loves our kitty Niko and enjoys torturing him daily. She's very into books now and will lie with you while you read to her.

She's eating everything these days and is almost off my homemade "baby food". We've gone though almost every fruit and veggie and we're working on meats. We've tried chicken, ham & beef and she's done pretty good with all. She's also had mashed potatoes, pizza, hash browns, toast and cheese but cheerios are her favorite!
