Trick-or-Treat

This year was our 1st year being in our new home for halloween. It's kind of hard to believe that in a few weeks we will have been here for a year, but it also feels like we've lived here forever. We had A LOT of trick-or-treater's in our neighborhood. FIVE bags of candy worth! I love seeing all the kids in their costumes. When we lived in the city we'd have to sit out on the front porch with our hot cocoa's giving out candy b/c none of the kids would go up all those stairs to get to our apartment. So it was nice to not have to freeze our butts off on the stoop. It got pretty chilly fast.

Little A was decked out in her Monkey costume. We put her in her buggy with her little candy basket propped under the hood and went around our cul-de-sac. Everyone got a kick out of her new obsession...waving! She waves at everyone now. As soon as someone opened the door and we said "Hiiiiiii", she'd wave. What a ham!

I'm just now getting around to looking at these snapshots but had to share.

Oh and by the way, notice how one of our pumpkins has a big chunk missing? Upon closer inspection we noticed little teeth marks on it! I don't even want to know what kind of animal is eating our pumpkins on our porch at night.
