Trip to see Santa

We made a trip down to the Burlington Mall in Ma. today for some last minute holiday shopping, but more importantly, to see Santa! We have a mall that's closer to us but everyone knows that the Santa at the Burlington Mall is the best! Plus, that's the one we went to last year and I wanted to continue going to him for picture comparisons each year. However, it appears that Santa got a little work done b/c he's looking mighty different this year! What a bummer, last years Santa was so cute!

Little A was looking adorable (as always), all dressed up in 1 of her 2 holiday dresses with her fancy-schmancy sparkly ballet-like slippers.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the line was unusually short. Only about 15 mins compared to our over 1 hour wait last year.

As we walked up for our turn I felt little A's fingers dig into my shoulders. She was holding on for dear life. She knew what was coming. The photographer told me to drop her in his lap and run back behind the camera. I did and proceeded to make silly faces & noises as both she & santa stared at me looking very unimpressed (as you will see in the picture).

It took all of 5 seconds before she broke down crying. Santa said that she lasted longer than 90% of the kids her age. He probably says that to every mom.
