Kimberly Zay Photography Blog: Little G

Hi there, I’m Kim! Welcome to my Blog! I’m a mom, a wife, a daughter, a friend & a photographer; in that order. I have an adorable daughter named “Little A.", and a wonderful husband named Adam. We reside in S. NH and truly love it here! I know it’s hard to get a feel for who a person is on the internet, but hopefully through reading about my experiences, my shoots, my family, & my stories, you can get a glimpse into my life & what I'm all about.

My style of photography has been described as fun, fresh, bold, classic, relaxed, simple, journalistic, contemporary, upbeat, emotional & modern (phew!). I love vibrant color and light black & whites, high-energy sessions capturing you, your children and family as they truly are. I use very little props (except with newborns) and strive to capture genuine moments. I enjoy photographing events as they happen opposed to creating them. My goal with this blog is to give my clients, photographers, friends, family, and all you secret blog stalkers out there, a sneak peek into what’s going on with us, session highlights, promotions, news, fun seasonal events and other random nonsense.

Little G

I snuck down for a mini-shoot today with my good friend Christie's newborn daughter; Little G. She's 1 week 1 day old today and oh so very precious. Still very cuddly & sleepy...perfect for newborn photos.

I had Christie turn up the heat about 30 mins before I got there so Little G would be nice and warm in her birthday suit. It worked nicely. We were sweating, but little G was happy! Nice and relaxed. Actually, maybe a bit too relaxed. Once we took of her diaper, she pee'd and pooped at least a half dozen times including all over Mom! I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard!
